Although skies were overcast and gray, smiles shone bright at the 2nd Annual Turnstone-VOSS Carnival yesterday morning.
Held at Turnstone’s outdoor playground, more than 50 children and adults enjoyed games like bowling, basketball, hula-hoop and more. A steady line of excited carnival goers also gathered to have their faces painted, many choosing a dinosaur, pirate or super hero as their mask of choice.
But the fun didn’t stop there!
Captain America and Superman also stopped to visit with participants, and children clamored at the doors of the moonwalk, which was generously donated by All Occasion Party Rentals. Topping off the event, several VOSS employees served a tasty picnic lunch to everyone who attended.
This was the second year in a row VOSS Automotive, Inc., partnered with Turnstone to host the carnival. In 2015, VOSS participated in the United Way Day of Caring for the first time, collaborating with Turnstone to host the carnival. This collaboration led to a strong relationship, and the 2nd Annual Turnstone-VOSS Carnival.
